I BELIEVE HER....#METOO As a survivor of sexual assault from a young age my heart hurts for Dr Ford and all victims of sexual abuse who have hidden their life story!! It takes so much courage to live out loud and break thru the leaves of shameful ugliness and the emotional scars Of sexual abuse. A lot of people struggle their entire lives coping with the impact. it is very important to know that your abuse history does not determine your identity. It also does not determine your worth. It takes courage to survive and even more courage to live. As your healing begins it may all seem overwhelming. The heart feels torn into pieces however that gives you a place to begin “one piece of self at a time” Please know that You Matter and still have worth and Purpose! No one can take your heart or soul! Its time to pick up your heart pieces and freely live. Therapy is a good place to start!
